American Church Partnership

Are you an American pastor or local church looking to serve alongside an international congregation?

Along with providing ministry support:

  • We look for pastors to both befriend and mentor/coach international leaders in both life and ministry through time, impartation, equipping and hands on ministry experience.
  • We look for churches to equally invite and participate in international church life, both in normal service times and throughout the week.
  • We look for both the international and American congregations to partner together in outreach, ministry and family life, to enrich the relationships collectively and strengthen the ministry of both communities respectively.

What our ILC Residents are saying…

The ILC has been a great environment to ponder and process theological learning, bridge into impactful kingdom relationships and a place of equipping for practical and applicable leadership trainings.

Pastor Mo ObayomiHis Holy Hill Church (Nigeria)

Last year and during this pandemic the ILC has impacted your ministry in so many ways that we would need hours to describe it. Pastor Fady is amazing. True example of what a leader should be.

Esteban Brown & Jessica AriasCasa de Adoración al Rey (Costa Rica)

This has been an eye opening in developing a second generation of godly leaders. Growing disciples who are after God's own heart as we invest in the lives of others and transmitting not only what we know but also what we are.

Our Story

It all started when…

The International Leadership Coalition was birthed out of a recognized need occurring in the "backyard" of our own home. Over the past few decades, Tennessee has become home for over 600,000 internationals from all over the world, many of whom have resettled in Middle Tennessee as either refugees seeking asylum or immigrants seizing school or business opportunities. This number is soon to reach 1 million by the year 2040 with the same diversity increasing in many states all across the United States.

In a world where millions have been and are currently being displaced, persecuted and oppressed, the ILC seeks to see communities transformed by the power of the Kingdom of God by discovering and equipping leaders to be conduits of transformation in global cities. Through the power of the gospel, value and dignity can be restored to the thousands impacted by loss. We believe leaders pave the way by serving as life transforming agents in partnership with the local church. Our international communities have a sure future by seizing opportunities for the next generation.

Statement of Faith

What we believe

Our Christian belief

We believe in the Holy Bible, as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy, and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

In One God, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

In Jesus Christ as God manifested in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, His personal return in power and glory and His offer of eternal life through faith in Him.

In the salvation of lost and sinful man through the shed blood of the Jesus Christ, by faith in Him alone, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit.

In the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling the believer is enabled to live a holy life, to witness and work for the Lord, Jesus Christ.

In the Unity of the Spirit of all true believers, the Church, the Body of Christ.

Our commitment

We are committed to following Christ's example in offering love, mercy and compassion to all mankind without discrimination or condition, led by the eternal gospel of Christ.

Offering hope to the hopeless, help to the helpless and the sharing of our call, ministry and resources to aid in the holistic transformation of all mankind by meeting their spiritual, social and economical needs.

Seeking and serving the poor, needy, mistreated, persecuted, the orphans and the widows among the people groups and the nations of the earth.

Discovering, equipping, resourcing and sending qualified ministry and professional leaders, gospel ambassadors to be contributing life-changing agents in the church and the market place among their own people groups and nations.

Our partnerships

Wherever we exist, we highly honor and value partnership with the expression of the local church body from multi-denominational backgrounds and with other non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and ministry foundations who share common principles of faith and mission with us.

We promote and function in unity with the Body of Christ, locally and globally, and together aid in meeting the humanitarian needs of those suffering from poverty, lack and persecution. We seek ministry partnerships with churches, ministries, people and foundations who desire to share love and good works in advancing the message and ministry of the Kingdom of Christ our Lord.

We collaborate and serve alongside other ministries who desire to contribute to the fulfillment of the mission of the Church all over the earth.

Our call

We are called to love and value people of all nations and people groups for whom Christ died and rose again to give abundant life on earth and eternal life by faith in Him, to respect and honor their uniqueness, culture and traditions, and to contribute through positive healthy relationships, leading to their progress and success personally, professionally and spiritually.

Our accountability

We are accountable to God, the local body of believers and our ministry partners to be faithful and trustworthy in our ethical conduct regarding people and financial resources. We covenant to fulfill our mission with integrity, honor and honesty. We endeavor to live by biblical standards of excellence and structure our ministries to function with honesty, dignity and to be above reproach.

We seek to share our life, experience, resources and knowledge in bringing the transformational power of the good news of the gospel to people groups, local and global communities.

We choose to steward our resources with absolute accountability and use them to assist in training the future leaders ministry in the church and corporate world, as well as using our resources in rebuilding lives, community development projects and ministry planting.
